The Gravenhurst Opera House is more than just a theatre.  It is a place with a century-old tradition of bringing people together.  It is the place, around which, our community has rallied to preserve our heritage.  It is the place where people gather to enjoy a leisurely or fun filled evening, to make new friends, to enjoy the company of their neighbours and to celebrate life’s many milestones.

In this technically advanced era when “home entertainment” has made great strides,

the magic of live performance - music, theatre, dance, and comedy - and the pleasure of experiencing these with your friends, family and community, still thrives at the Opera House.  Surround sound is a marvel, but there is no substitute for “being there.”  The Gravenhurst Opera House is all about “being there”.  Come out, meet the artists and entertainers in person, and enjoy an authentic cultural experience.
