Are you interested in a career in the trades? Explore a new skilled trade every week! Each session will feature a fun, hands-on project sponsored by local industry experts, and an engaging lesson outlining the basics of the trade. From HVAC to plumbing, tiling to electrical, you can unlock your future career this summer at GPL.

Intro to Electrical: Mini Animation Machines - Monday, July 15th at 2pm

Become an electricity expert at this week’s Summer Trade School session! Participants will learn all about electrical safety and super circuits while building their very own motorized animation machine!

Program Evaluation

Parents/Guardians: Please be aware that children under the age of 10 years old must have a parent or guardian present in the Library. Parents or guardians need to be present in the library at all times during programs and be readily available to supervise their child’s breaks, or early dismissal from programs. Children over the age of 10 are allowed to be in the Library without a parent or guardian present, but will not be supervised by Library staff and are free to leave the program room and the Library at their own discretion.
