Daytime burning restrictions lifted

Daytime burning restrictions are now lifted.

These restrictions are in place each year from April 1 to Oct. 31.

While restrictions are lifted, there are important things to keep in mind:

  • Only clean dry wood or dry yard waste should be used for fires. (Unprinted paper or cardboard waste may be used for starting a fire.)
  • An individual must always have control of a fire.
  • The means of extinguishing a fire must always be nearby.

We thank people for their cooperation.

Failure to observe these regulations could result in a fine.
