Flags at half-mast in memory of Murray Sinclair

Flags at Town of Gravenhurst facilities have been lowered to half-mast following the death of Murray Sinclair. 

Mr. Sinclair, a former judge, lawyer, and senator, served as chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission into residential schools. 

Mr. Sinclair died in Winnipeg on Monday.

He was 73.

On behalf of council and staff, Mayor Heidi Lorenz extends condolences to Mr. Sinclair’s family and friends.
