NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP

CONCERNING DORMANCY FOR

THE GRAVENHURST BIA

TAKE NOTICE THAT a special meeting open to all business and commercial property owners within the Gravenhurst Business Improvement Associations (BIA) boundary will be held on

Friday, January 10, 2025
at 3:00 p.m. at the

Gravenhurst Municipal Offices
(Council Chambers)
5 Pineridge Gate
Gravenhurst, Ontario

TO CONSIDER the proposed declaration for the Gravenhurst BIA to enter a state of dormancy, for a period of time, along with future options that can be considered by the membership.

The Gravenhurst BIA Executive, at a meeting on November 22, 2024, voted unanimously approving the declaration for the BIA to enter a state of dormancy. This declaration was made as a result of the BIA not being able to satisfy the legislative requirements of the Municipal Act.

All interested commercial property owners and business owners within the Gravenhurst BIA boundary are encouraged to attend the meeting. A report detailing the consensus and/or recommendations from the BIA members will be presented to Gravenhurst Town Council for consideration.
