The District of Muskoka is in a state of emergency due to the recent ice storm.

The Centennial Centre in Gravenhurst is open as a warming centre from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The centre is at 101 Centennial Dr. 

Ruttans Road West now open

UPDATE (April 4, 2025 @ 12:25 p.m.) - Repairs have been made and the road is now open.

Location: Ruttans Road West (338 metres southwest of Housey’s Rapids Road) 

Road closure period: TBD 

Reason for closure: Road closed due to washout at 1085 Ruttans Road West. No detour option available. No emergency access. Watch Gravenhurst.ca and Municipal 511 for updates.
