At the Gravenhurst Opera House we are always looking for volunteers to become ambassadors of what we do. We would not be able to deliver our programs and serve our community without the kindness and generosity of those who share their valuable time. If you are 16 years of age or older, looking to meet new friends, give back to the community, see inspiring shows or build your resume, then volunteer with us – especially if you enjoy the performing arts!

There is no minimum amount of time volunteers are required to give, but every hour is appreciated. We are currently seeking volunteers to usher and take tickets during performances. Ushers assist patrons to their seats and ensure that house rules are followed. Ticket takers welcome and direct patrons and answer any questions they may have. We also encourage friends and family members to volunteer together!

Are you a high-school student (over 16)? You can earn community hours for your volunteer work.

The Gravenhurst Opera House is thankful for everyone's generous support. No donation is too small. Your gift allows us to host community events, provide educational programming, attract talented artists, maintain our facility, keep the technology up to date, and so much more.

Donations can be made in person or over the phone by calling 705-687-5550.

For those wishing to make a donation of $25 or more, a tax receipt from the Town of Gravenhurst will be issued upon request.
