Cinema Under the Stars

Since its launch in 2012, Cinema Under The Stars has become a cherished tradition for families in Gravenhurst. More than just an outdoor movie, the Town of Gravenhurst offers a full evening of fun for families with crafts and activities ahead of each screening ran by the Gravenhurst Public Library. Bring a cozy blanket, lawn chair, friends & family and enjoy full-length feature films totally FREE on select Thursday nights in July & August.

Times

July – Activities run by the Gravenhurst Public Library begin at 8:00 PM & the film begins at dusk.
August – Activities by the Gravenhurst Public Library begin 7:00 PM & and the film begins at dusk.

Cost

Activities and films are completely free! (Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase.)

Weather & Cancellation

Please be advised that Cinema Under The Stars movie nights are cancelled in the event of heavy rain or severe weather. Be sure to visit the Town of Gravenhurst Facebook Page for updates in the event of a cancellation or modification. A decision to cancel an evening will happen at 6:00 PM in July and 5:00 PM in August.
