  • Gull Lake Rotary Park waterfront update

    Summertime activity is ramping up at the Gull Lake Rotary Park waterfront.  

    Here is a list of some things happening in the days ahead.

  • Notice – Public Dock and Launch Control Bylaw

    Gravenhurst town council will consider a proposed Public Dock and Launch Control Bylaw at the Aug. 13 Committee of the Whole meeting.

    The purpose of the bylaw is to regulate the use of public docks, landings, and prevent the abandonment of boats and materials at docks.

  • ADVISORY: Water Safety Bulletin (June 24)

    The Ministry of Natural Resources – Bracebridge Minden Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety Bulletin is in effect for the district until Friday, July 5, 2024.

  • Gravenhurst Fire Department launches Community Connect

    The Gravenhurst Fire Department has been working closely with technology partner First Due to release Community Connect, an online application focused on protecting residents and their property in the most effective way possible during an incident or major disaster.

  • Gravenhurst’s Judy Humphries receives Ontario Volunteer Service Award

    Mayor Heidi Lorenz, on behalf of council, is pleased to announce that local resident Judy Humphries has received an Ontario Volunteer Service Award. 

    Humphries received the award in recognition of her contributions to the Gravenhurst Municipal Heritage Committee and the Gravenhurst Archives. 

  • Ontario Heritage Conference starts Thursday in Gravenhurst

    The Town of Gravenhurst is delighted to host the Ontario Heritage Conference starting Thursday, June 13.

    Almost 170 delegates will be in town for the three-day event with conference activities based at various locations throughout the community, including the Muskoka Discovery Centre, Gravenhurst Opera House, and the Residence Inn Gravenhurst Muskoka Wharf.

  • Splash pad, washrooms not in service

    The splash pad and washrooms at Muskoka Wharf Sports Field, 1111 Bay St.will not open until later in the summer due to the Bay and Beyond infrastructure project.
